Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work closely with senior project managers on all facets of project management, including RFP preparation, proposals, and contract management.

You will coordinate design and construction teams, maintain governance, and ensure quality control at site, while advancing toward a Project Manager role through mentorship and hands-on experience. This role supports multiple locations across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre‑construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
• Coordinate design and construction teams to align with project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of craft trades at site.
• Support turnover and project closeout with organization and transparency.
