Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work side‑by‑side with senior project managers on all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, and ensuring successful project turnover.

Your education and experience will be engaged daily, and you will be mentored to progress toward becoming a Project Manager while delivering complex programs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
Knowledge of pre-design and pre‑construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

Assist senior project managers in all project management aspects including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts.
Coordinate design and construction teams and maintain project governance.
Conduct field quality control of craft trades at site and support project turnover.
