Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team in the United States. You will work with senior PMs on all aspects of project management, from RFPs to turnover, mentoring as you progress toward PM responsibilities.

Bring curiosity and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment; relocation assumptions and proximity to a Jacobs US office are considered for best fit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction processes, delivery systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams.
• Maintain project governance and reporting.
• Conduct field quality control of craft trades on site.
• Ensure successful project turnover.

Skills

Experience on large building projects

Knowledge of pre-design/pre-constr.

CMIT/EIT (preferred)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline
