Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. You will work side‑by‑side with senior project managers in all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating and managing contracts, coordinating design and construction teams, maintaining governance, and ensuring successful turnover.

You’ll be mentored toward becoming a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams.
• Maintain project governance.
• Conduct field quality control of craft trades at site.
• Ensure successful project turnover.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
