Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team across locations in the United States. You will work with senior project managers on all aspects of project management, including RFPs, proposals, contracts, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure program success.

You will be mentored as you progress toward becoming a Project Manager, with exposure to governance, field quality control, and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior project managers across project lifecycle.
• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams.
• Maintain project governance and quality control at site.
• Support project turnover and post-award activities.
