Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our data center team. This role supports ongoing data center projects across the United States, with preferred proximity to a Jacobs U.S. office.

The position offers mentorship toward becoming a Project Manager and competitive benefits. You will work side‑by‑side with senior project managers on all aspects of project management, including preparing RFPs, soliciting proposals, negotiating contracts, coordinating design and construction teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction, or Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience working on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.
• Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) and Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs and solicit proposals.
• Negotiate and manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams.
• Maintain project governance and ensure project turnover.
• Conduct field quality control of the craft trades at site.
