Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for its data center team in the United States. The role supports ongoing data center projects nationwide, with preference for candidates near a Jacobs U.S. office.

You will work with senior project managers on all aspects of project management, including RFPs, proposals, contracts, and governance, while developing client relationships and leadership skills toward PM progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience on large building construction or civil projects.
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs, solicit proposals, and negotiate/manage contracts.
• Coordinate design and construction teams and maintain project governance.
• Perform field quality control and ensure successful project turnover.
• Mentor toward becoming a Project Manager as you gain experience.
