Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Pre-Construction Manager to lead nationwide planning of data center campuses. You will serve as the primary liaison between Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence, and partner teams from early planning through design development.

You will provide schedule forecasting, construction budgeting, and constructability guidance, helping ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery across multiple sites nationwide. Occasional travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development and deployment.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence and other partner teams from initial planning through design development.
• Provide schedule forecasting, construction budgeting, and constructability guidance for the Pre-Construction program.
• Drive pre-construction activities across nationwide data center campuses and review bid yields and scope documents.
• Manage relationships with land sellers, developers and general contractors; evaluate bids and proposals.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to support site evaluations and construction activities.
