Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager for AMER West Data Center Construction. The role focuses on developing and executing a nationwide pre-construction program, coordinating Real Estate, Design Engineering, and Due Diligence teams to forecast schedules and budgets.

You will lead constructability reviews, define scopes, and manage bids while collaborating with vendors. The role requires heavy travel and a strong background in data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of critical data center equipment and engineering documentation.
• Experience taking design concepts through exploration to deployment or mass production.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Perform constructability reviews of critical scopes for new data centers and drive improvements in baseline.
• Conduct build phasing evaluations in civil, structural, electrical fields for potential sites.
• Define construction scopes and request for proposals to General Contractors; review bids, schedules and milestones.
