Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager for a leading power switches supplier serving utility, industrial, and military markets. The role focuses on expanding Data Center accounts and building long-term client relationships.

You will develop and execute sales plans, pursue new business, and work with manufacturing reps. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of technical sales in power industries and proven data center experience with AC/GRID solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales experience in utility/power industries.
• Must have experience selling into data centers and AC GRID solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or business/marketing with relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets within Data Center Accounts.
• Develop business in both new and existing accounts.
• Work with clients in Data Centers and serve as a consultative expert in power switches.
• Opportunity to quickly work up to a leadership opportunity.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the region, including new customer acquisition and existing customer growth.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers at Data Center organizations and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies as needed.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products and build brand awareness.
