Job summary

Datacenter People LLC is seeking an experienced data center sales professional to lead specification opportunities and drive adoption of modular power distribution solutions in North America. You will coordinate with engineering, respond to complex requests, and manage CRM pipelines while promoting data center design capabilities.

The role requires strong presentation skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and a technical background with CAD exposure. Travel up to 60% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years’ experience in the data center market, preferably in technical sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a technical field is preferred.
• Identifies and resolves challenges in a timely manner.
• Gathers and analyzes information; develops alternative solutions.
• Solid understanding of data center design diagrams and 2D/3D design software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Hubbell Data Center sales team to identify and drive opportunities.
• Respond to qualified business requests and navigate the sales cycle.
• Analyze and maintain customer databases to determine key decision makers.
• Deliver presentations and engage SMEs to promote modular power distribution solutions.
• Provide data-driven market forecasts for strategic planning.
• Offer market intelligence and competitive analysis to guide product development.
• Build and oversee pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM management (Salesforce).
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements.
• Perform other assigned duties as required by leadership.
