Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Data Center market for a leading power-switch provider. You will develop and execute a sales plan, and grow both new and existing accounts with consultative expertise for Data Center customers.

You will collaborate with product development, marketing, and customer service to meet and exceed client needs, while aiming for leadership opportunities and strong market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical field, engineering preferred, OR business/marketing degree with relevant experience.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience in utility/power industries.
• Must have experience selling into data centers and AC/Grid solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets within Data Center Accounts.
• Develop business in both new and existing accounts.
• Serve as a consultative expert in power switches for clients in Data Centers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and drive growth.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the region and with existing customers.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers at Data Center organizations and electrical contractors.

They are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to continue their growth in the lucrative Data Center market.

Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets within Data Center Accounts
• Develop business in both new and existing accounts.
• Work with clients in Data Centers and serve as a consultative expert in power switches.
• Opportunity to quickly work up to a leadership opportunity.
• Work closely with manufacturing representatives to achieve sales plans and target.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the region, including new customer acquisition and existing customer growth.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at Data Center organizations, electrical contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed.
• Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote our client's products and build brand awareness.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in technical field, engineering, electrical engineering desired OR Business or marketing degree with relevant experience.
• 5+ Years of technical sales experience in utility/power industries - required
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication skills and negotiating skills
• Must have experience selling into data centers or you will not be considered
• Must have experience selling AC/Grid solutions
