Job summary

Quality Technology Services seeks a Critical Operations Technician II for our Ashburn, VA data center. The role requires hands-on installation, repair, and maintenance of IT, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in a 24x7 environment.

You will monitor operations, manage tickets, perform routine testing, and support customer equipment installs on the data floor, in person and by phone. On-site work is required with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Five or more of technical training, military training, or workplace equivalency.
• Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical fields.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, repair, and maintenance of IT, electrical, mechanical, plumbing/piping equipment and controls.
• Leads preventive maintenance of equipment; records readings and adjusts as needed.
• Provides remote hands and eyes services for customers and supports data center operations.
