Job summary

Quality Technology Services (QTS) is seeking a motivated Critical Operations Technician to maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and IT equipment across our data centers. This on-site role supports a 24x7x365 environment and requires hands-on technical work in a fast-paced facility.

You will perform preventive maintenance, install and repair equipment, manage work orders and tickets, and assist customers on the data center floor. Proficiency with IT hardware and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical or trade training, military training, or workplace equivalency.
• Background in facilities maintenance, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or IT hardware or cabling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and IT equipment.
• Install and repair IT, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Provide high level computer hardware and software configuration support.
• Process work orders for maintenance and update tickets.
• Respond to building emergencies and customer requests.
• Follow Change Management processes and safety policies.
