Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas invites a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. This remote role requires 50% travel and focuses on strategy, growth, and executive-level relationships with hyperscalers and data center operators.

You will drive market analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, manufacturing, and sales leadership to deliver profitable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess and communicate market intelligence, including market characteristics and segmentation, technical trends, and growth potential.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy Data Center vertical market, providing periodic updates to VP of National Accounts and executive staff.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: Elevate Data Center team professionalism and scale complex solutions with field, manufacturing, and Rep leadership.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead vertical market strategy with internal customers including supply chain, manufacturing, service ops, and product development.
• Marketing: collaborate to determine materials, trade show participation, and events visibility; identify speaker opportunities.
• Team Management: lead a team of Data Center experts; drive pipeline growth; hire/train headcount; coach for development
