Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. You will set the vertical market strategy and business plans to drive incremental growth and profitable results across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical, scientific, or engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development, including 6+ years of people leadership.
• Proven track record leading high-growth data center sales teams.
• Ability to develop executive relationships with C-suite leaders in data centers and hyperscalers.
• 5+ years of HVAC sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Market analysis and market intelligence gathering for the Data Center vertical.
• Strategic planning and updating leadership on strategy and plans; identify opportunities with field and customers.
• Improve customer experience and scale complex solutions with field, manufacturing and partner leadership.
• Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, manufacturing, service ops, product dev) to execute strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials, events, and visibility; identify speaking and publishing opportunities.
• Lead and develop the Data Center expert team; grow pipeline and manage headcount and coaching.
