Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas seeks a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. You will set strategy, drive growth, and guide a team to deliver profitable results across key accounts.

Remote role with travel up to 50% and collaboration with VP, executive staff, and regional leadership to align market plans with Daikin's business model. You will build executive relationships and scale complex solutions for data center operators and hyperscalers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators, and hyperscalers

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess market intelligence for Data Center verticals and growth potential.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy for the Data Center market and provide updates to leadership.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate team professionalism and scale complex solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead internal adoption of vertical strategy with supply chain, manufacturing, and product development.
• Marketing: collaborate on materials, trade shows, and visibility opportunities.
• Team Management: lead Data Center experts, plan headcount, and coach for performance
