Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. The role is remote with 50% travel as needed, reporting to the VP of National Accounts.

You will set the vertical strategy, drive growth, and provide leadership to a team of Data Center experts, coordinating with field, manufacturing, and product development to deliver profitable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market analysis and market intelligence for data centers.
• Develop and drive vertical market strategy and business plans.
• Lead and scale the Data Center team across locations; drive pipeline growth.
• Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, service operations and product development.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials, trade shows, and visibility.
• Hire, train, and coach headcount; manage performance and career development.
