Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technical Manager to lead operations, maintenance, and energy management for a facility or portfolio of buildings. The role includes developing preventive maintenance programs, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with tenants and vendors to deliver high-value services.

You will drive continuous improvement across technical operations, support asset management plans, and mentor on-site managers to uphold CBRE standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• 10 years’ experience in Data Centers or Critical Facilities preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the team responsible for mechanical operations, maintenance, and energy management.
• Maintain communication with tenants, clients, and vendors and provide technical support across locations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Review and approve emergency operating procedures and support process improvements across the global portfolio.
• Lead and train onsite engineering managers and supervisors.
