Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead the on-site engineering team in delivering preventive maintenance, routine operations, and rapid repairs for mission-critical environments. You will safeguard uptime and manage client relationships at the data center.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with HVAC/electrical systems, CMMS familiarity, and effective stakeholder communication to ensure all tasks meet operational standards and contractual timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of experience in managing critical infrastructure.
• Experience with data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and staff development abilities.
• Proficient in CMMS and MS Office suites.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, training, and development for facility engineers and technicians.
• Oversee maintenance, work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs per MSA/SLA timelines.
• Serve as on-site client contact and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• Verify installations of UPS, chillers, generators and IT power deployments.
• Prepare RAMS and risk mitigation plans for maintenance activities.
