Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead the MEP critical infrastructure team responsible for preventive maintenance, operations, and emergency repairs in mission-critical environments.

You will supervise facility engineers, manage SLAs, and serve as the on-site client contact while ensuring uptime and compliant operations across IT power, cooling, and environmental controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years managing critical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure incl. HVAC, electrical, UPS and generators.
• Experience in staffing, training, performance mentoring and staff retention.
• Excellent communication under high pressure infrastructure problems.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision, training, and development for facility engineers and technicians.
• Oversee PMs, work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to meet MSA/SLA timelines.
• Serve as on-site primary client contact and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• Oversee data hall infrastructure, environmental controls, and space audits.
• Prepare RAMS and risk mitigation plans for maintenance activities.
• Maintain documentation and records for all technical processes and facility changes.
• Lead by CBRE values and influence stakeholders to maintain efficiency.
