Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead the MEP critical infrastructure engineering team responsible for preventive maintenance, routine operations, and emergency repairs in mission-critical environments.

You will ensure uptime, manage on-site client relationships, and drive adherence to MSAs and SLAs while guiding a technical staff through shifts and incident response. Strong leadership and RAMS/documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years managing critical infrastructure.
• Proven understanding of data center infrastructure incl. HVAC, electrical distribution, backup generators, and UPS systems.
• Experience leading technical teams and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision, training, and development for facility engineers and technicians.
• Oversee configuration management, work orders, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs to meet MSAs/SLA timelines.
• Serve as the on-site operational point of contact for the client and collaborate with stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Verify equipment installations like UPS, chillers, and generators are completed on time and deployments managed.
• Draft and review RAMS for maintenance activities and present to management/clients for approval.
• Oversee data hall cleanliness, environmental controls, and space audits to ensure compliance.
• Act as escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents and communicate status to management and client.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all technical processes and facility changes.
• Model CBRE values and influence stakeholders to achieve high operational efficiency.
