Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an FM Engineering Operations Manager (Data Centers) to lead the Maintenance and Tech Leads, ensuring uptime and reliability across critical electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems.

You will drive strategic and operational direction with rigorous preventive maintenance and rapid repairs. You will set operational goals, manage the site budget (OpEx/CapEx), track PUE, and enforce safety standards and CMMS/DCIM discipline in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years engineering management in data centers.
• Experience leading 24/7 operations and supervising technical leads.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Financial acumen for OpEx/CapEx planning and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and coaching to Maintenance and Tech Leads.
• Guide recruitment, onboarding, and training of frontline technicians.
• Manage daily schedules, escalations, and cross-training across shifts.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Own site engineering budget and CapEx/OpEx planning.
• Set site goals to optimize infrastructure, including PUE tracking.
• Enforce safety standards and operational playbooks at floor level.
• Maintain CMMS records, regulatory paperwork, and logs.
• Collaborate with IT, project management, and HSE teams.
• Resolve complex issues in UPS, chillers, generators, and switchgear.
