Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on high‑impact data center projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers and Operations to deliver on time and within budget.

You will create master development programs, manage entitlements and permits, review budgets and pay applications, and drive cost estimates. Travel up to 25% is required to support multiple campuses.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and delivery methods.
Experience with MS Office, PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple campus projects with updated budgets, schedules and status reports.
Create monthly updates for executive reviews and stakeholder alignment.
Develop master development programs for sites, including budgets.
Manage entitlements, permitting and site development plans.
Review pay applications and change orders with contractors.
Collaborate with procurement and product teams for deployments.
