QTS Realty Trust in New York is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities across campus projects. You will coordinate daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Vendors to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and strong developer-client partnerships.

The role requires managing budgets, schedules and approvals, guiding entitlement and permitting, and building master development programs for multiple site projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods from conceptual development through procurement to close out.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for each.
• Maintain daily interface with the tenant to foster a strong developer-client partnership.
• Demonstrate high-level, rapid problem solving and prioritization across competing demands.
• Create and communicate weekly updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a master development program and budget for sites.
• Oversee entitlement, permitting needs and multi-phased site development plans.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineers and Product teams to support client solutions within schedule and budget.
