Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on campus projects. You will work with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, and operations teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, 5+ years in commercial construction delivery, and strong skills in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with MS Office, PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Ability to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects with budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create monthly updates for executive reviews and present findings.
• Develop master development programs for sites and campus design solutions.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams.
• Review pay applications and change orders with contractors.
