Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for project campuses. You will coordinate with Facilities, Designers, Engineers, Contractors, and Operations teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and strong client partnerships.

This role requires managing complex programs, writing scopes of work, and aligning with procurement and cost estimation processes to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with MS Office, PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects with updated budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Maintain a strong developer-client partnership and daily interface with tenants.
• Create weekly updates for executive reviews and present them clearly for decision making.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to develop a master development program and budgets.
• Lead entitlement, permitting, and multi-phased site development plans to meet time and budget goals.
