Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Director, Development (Data Center Construction) to lead complex client deployments across multiple locations. You will coordinate with the Property Development team and speciality consultants to align design, pricing and schedules, ensuring delivery according to client objectives and company standards.

The role requires a strong background in data center design and engineering, with at least ten years in mission critical facilities and five years in large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional licenses in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture
• Ten or more years of progressive responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities
• Five or more years of responsibility of data center project construction with large-scale data centers or DC lease providers
• Ability to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal within each QTS location
• Coordinate with the QTS Property Development team and supporting consultants to support design needs, pricing and implementation
• Drive on-time and on-budget project delivery and maintain strong client relationships
• Serve as a single contact for Federal sales support on potential secured deals
