Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Engineer (Data Center Construction) to assist with design, preconstruction and construction activities. You’ll collaborate daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff to ensure successful project delivery.

You will support budgets, schedules, and executive-level updates, while helping drive entitlement, permitting, and procurement efforts across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office for program updates and budgeting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist development leadership with daily activities and project management.
• Maintain budgets and schedules for multiple campus projects.
• Prepare monthly status updates for executive reviews.
• Coordinate with design, construction, procurement teams to support development programs.
• Support entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites.
