Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced controls engineer to manage BMS/EPMS systems across AWS data centers. You will troubleshoot, design, and implement control sequences, while leading projects, coordinating with operations, engineering, and vendors.

The role emphasizes lifecycle support, on-call responsibilities, and ongoing optimization of building and electrical monitoring systems in critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related field is required.
• 3+ years of controls experience in data center or similar critical environment.
• 2+ years in project or vendor management related to construction/exec.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist internal customers on BMS/EPMS systems throughout lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during data center operations and post-maintenance reviews.
• Develop project scope, schedule, budget and LOE for BMS/EPMS initiatives.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget and execution of BMS/EPMS projects in AWS data centers.
• Assist procurement activities including RFx, vendor proposals, PO issuance.
• Participate in AWS on-call for BMS/EPMS support and report status to management.
• Support commissioning activities for controls projects in data centers.
• Review and iterate on SOO; provide feedback to design team.
• Develop/modify control logic programming and GUI interfaces.
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate complex situations.
• Manage service contracts related to BMS/EPMS.
