Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to support BMS/EPMS systems across AWS facilities.

You will troubleshoot, design, configure and validate control sequences, while coordinating with operations and vendors to deliver projects that meet safety and performance goals. The role requires strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, plus extensive experience with industrial controls and data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) required.
• 5+ years of controls experience in critical environments (data centers, pharma, etc.).
• 4+ years of project or vendor management experience in construction.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist internal customers on BMS/EPMS design, installation and operation.
• Lead project scope, schedule, budget and LOE for BMS/EPMS initiatives.
• Support on-call BMS/EPMS technical issues for AWS data centers.
• Coordinate procurement activities and review vendor proposals.
• Visit data centers to troubleshoot and ensure design and SOO compliance.
