Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Green Bay facility, is seeking a production operator to operate blending equipment and prepare ingredients for cheese products. You will ensure safety, quality, and accurate batch records while supporting efficient output.

You will monitor equipment, assist in the cooking process, and maintain a clean, compliant work area. Prior manufacturing experience and ability to read batch records are ideal for success.

Qualifications

• Read, comprehend, and follow documents such as ingredient information and batch records.
• Maintain accuracy in measurements and documentation.
• Perform basic math for batching, with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Operate computer systems (such as SAP) to input and retrieve data.
• Follow safety procedures and GMP requirements in a standardized setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending equipment and cheese grinder to prepare raw materials according to batch specs.
• Open and handle cheese and ingredients safely, using knives and tools.
• Measure ingredients with scales, and perform batch calculations.
• Read batch records, scan barcodes, and label batches accurately.
• Enter data into SAP and communicate shift pass-downs clearly.
• Move pallets of ingredients using pallet jacks and maintain a safe work area.
• Clean and sanitize machinery per SSOPs, CIP, and COP procedures.
• Assist in cooking processes and other production areas as directed.
