Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) at the Green Bay facility is seeking a production team member to operate blending equipment, prepare raw materials, and ensure safety and quality compliance. You will maintain accurate batch records and support efficient output in a food manufacturing setting.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and ability to use SAP for data entry. Shift is 3rd, with evening to early morning hours, and full PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Reading, comprehension and accurate following of documents such as ingredient information and batch records.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain accuracy in measurements and documentation.
• Basic math for measuring and recording ingredients using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to use basic computer software systems (such as SAP) to input and retrieve data.
• Practical problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Sound judgment to handle routine issues within a standardized environment.
• Ability to identify safety and GMP opportunities and take appropriate action.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending equipment and cheese grinder to prepare raw materials and ingredients according to batch specifications.
• Open and handle various sizes of cheese and ingredients using knives and cutting tools safely.
• Measure ingredients using scale systems and perform basic math calculations for batching.
• Read batch records, scan barcodes, and label batched ingredients with correct information.
• Enter production data into SAP software and maintain shift pass-down communication with coworkers.
• Move pallets of ingredients and raw materials using pallet jacks.
