Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Green Bay facility, seeks a Blending Operator to prepare raw materials per formulas and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will monitor equipment, record batch data, and keep a clean, compliant work area.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of manufacturing experience; SAP familiarity is a plus. This is a 2nd shift role with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, comprehend, and accurately follow documents such as ingredient information and batch records
• Strong attention to detail to maintain accuracy in measurements and documentation
• Basic proficiency in math for measuring and recording ingredients, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to use basic computer software systems (such as SAP) to input and retrieve data
• Ability to apply practical problem-solving skills and follow detailed instructions in both written and verbal formats
• Ability to use sound judgment to handle routine issues within a standardized environment
• Ability to proactively identify safety and GMP opportunities and take appropriate action
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Responsibilities

• Operate blending equipment and cheese grinder to prepare ingredients per batch specs
• Read batch records and label ingredients to maintain documentation
• Enter production data into SAP and share shift pass-downs
• Move pallets of ingredients using pallet jacks
• Maintain clean, safe work area and perform housekeeping daily
• Follow SSOPs and CIP sanitation procedures
