Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists. You will coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers while participating in customer meetings to move opportunities forward and help close deals with the sales team.

This remote role supports US regions including Texas, with travel around 35%. The position requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise across data center, cloud, security, and networking, and the

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
Minimum 3 years working with Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

Coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers.
Participate in customer meetings to move opportunities forward and close deals with the team.
Collaborate with sales to articulate the technical side of proposed solutions.
Engage with vendors and partners to establish market credibility.
Monitor performance and attendance records, providing actionable feedback.
