SHI International is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists in delivering the right technical solutions for enterprise customers. The role includes engaging with customer meetings to move deals forward and close opportunities.

The position is remote, based in the United States, with about 35% travel, and requires deep experience in data center, cloud, collaboration, security, and network sales, plus strong Excel/Visio/PPT skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales opportunities.
• Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Sell and present technical solutions to clients.
• Participate in customer meetings to move the process forward and close deals.
• Lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists to meet customer needs.
• Train sales teams on solution positioning and market capabilities.
• Build market credibility with vendors and customer technical staff.
• Monitor and coach team performance and attendance, ensuring accountability.
