SHI International Corp. is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of engineers, architects, and specialists, delivering the right technical solutions to meet customer needs and actively close deals with the sales team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of development and coaching experience in complex Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security and Network sales, travels about 35% and earns an on-target compensation between $180,000 and $370,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience selling Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network solutions.
• Minimum 2 years of development and coaching experience.
• Position requires 35% travel for business.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Deep experience with enterprise tech vendors (Cisco, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, AWS, Microsoft, Palo Alto, etc.) and knowledge of the competitive IT landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineers, Architects, and Specialists to deliver the right technical solutions.
• Collaborate with sales to close deals by addressing the technical side of solutions.
• Train and coach the sales team on product positioning and enterprise needs.
• Monitor performance and provide actionable feedback across the team.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to ensure successful implementation and outcomes.
