Job summary

SHI International is seeking a Manager of Presales Engineering to lead a team of Engineers, Architects, and Specialists in delivering the right technical solutions for customers.

You will coach, train, and develop Solutions Engineers, participate in customer meetings, and help move deals forward. This is a remote US-based role supporting multiple regions with travel as required. Candidates should have strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep enterprise tech experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years in a Pre-Sales Technical role.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Data Center, Cloud, Collaboration, Security, and Network sales.
Minimum 2 years development and coaching experience.
Position requires 35% travel for business.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a team of Solutions Engineers.
Collaborate with sales to close deals by addressing the technical side of solutions.
Engage client executives and technical personnel to build credibility.
Train the sales team on solution positioning for enterprise needs.
Monitor performance and drive recognition and improvements.
