Job summary

Serco seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. You will join a focused team performing test, integration, and evaluation of M&S systems to support 5th/6th gen training interoperability, coordinating with DoD customers and other Serco teams.

Ideal candidates will hold DoD clearances, a STEM degree, and 5+ years in test/integration or embedded systems. You will use tools like Wireshark, JIRA/Confluence, and scripting to drive test activities.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance or equivalent; TS/SCI/SAP eligibility anticipated.
Bachelor’s degree in STEM (e.g., Data Analysis, System Engineering, Math, CS, Physics) with 5 years of engineering test/integration/SW or embedded systems experience; or an Associate’s and 7 years in similar work.
Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical role; familiarity with military training or ops systems.
Must have or obtain within six months a DoD 8140 IAT Level II+ (Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability testing for DMON and JSE training operations.
Use industry-standard tools (Wireshark, CGFs, etc.) for test and evaluation.
Analyze network and compute performance (latency, bandwidth, jitter, occupancy).
Develop and maintain test plans and procedures; draft comprehensive test reports.
Assist in CONOPS development and multiple COAs for deployment of simulation capabilities.
