Job summary

Serco seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. The role tests and integrates M&S systems and applications to support 5th/6th gen training interoperability, working closely with DoD customers and Serco teams at Langley AFB and Orlando.

A DoD Secret clearance is required, with eligibility for TS/SCI and SAP/SAR. The engineer will develop test plans, draft reports, and script supporting tools, using JIRA/Confluence and other Atlassian products to drive test

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is required with ability to obtain TS/SCI/SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of test, integration, software development, or embedded systems engineering.
• Alternate: Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical capacity.
• Experience with DoD training or operational systems is a plus.
• Must travel up to 10% and obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher within six months.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and evaluation of simulation systems for CAF DMO 3.0.
• Use tools like Wireshark and CGFs to analyze performance and interoperability.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and comprehensive test reports.
• Contribute to CONOPS and multiple COAs for deployment of simulations.
• Assist in requirements reviews, training support, and basic system administration.
• Create test scripts and automate artifacts with PowerShell and related tools.
