Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. You will join a focused engineering team to test, integrate, and evaluate disparate M&S systems to support 5th/6th gen training interoperability.

You will work with DoD customers, use Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray), and contribute to the engineering lifecycle, including CONOPS development and test reporting.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI/SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5 years of engineering test/integration/SW development/embedded systems work.
• Or an Associate’s degree and 7 years of engineering test/integration/SW development/embedded systems work.
• Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity with development, test and evaluation of military training or operational systems.
• Must possess or obtain within six months a DoD 8140 IAT Level II (Security+, CySA+, CISSP) or higher.
• The ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability test for DMON/JSE training operations.
• Use industry tools for test and evaluation, e.g., Wireshark and CGFs.
• Analyze network and compute performance including latency, bandwidth, jitter.
