Job summary

Serco seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for its Combat Air Force Distributed Mission Operations (CAF DMO) 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. You will join a focused team of engineers to perform test, integration, and evaluation of M&S systems to support 5th and 6th generation training interoperability in a challenging virtual environment.

Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain TS/SCI/SAP/SAR is required, along with a STEM degree and substantial engineering experience.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Security clearance or the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR within a reasonable timeframe.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 5 years of engineering/test/integration experience, or Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting DoD customers and operating in a technical environment.
Familiarity with development, test and evaluation of military training or operational systems.

Responsibilities

Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability test for CAF DMO 3.0.
Use industry tools for test and evaluation including Wireshark and CGFs.
Analyze network and compute performance (latency, bandwidth, jitter, occupancy).
Develop and maintain test plans and procedures; draft test reports.
Develop CONOPS and multiple COAs for implementation of evaluated capabilities.
Contribute to requirements review, training support, and basic system administration.
