Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA. You will join a focused engineer team to perform test, integration, and evaluation of M&S systems to support 5th and 6th generation training interoperability with DoD customer collaboration at Langley AFB and Orlando, FL.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR. A STEM degree with several years of experience in test, integration, and embedded systems is

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years of engineering experience in test/integration/SW or embedded systems.
• Or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of engineering experience in test/integration/SW or embedded systems.
• Experience supporting DoD customers in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity with development, test and evaluation of military training/operational systems.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability testing.
• Use Wireshark and simulation tools to analyze protocols and CGFs.
• Analyze network and compute performance including latency and bandwidth.
• Develop and maintain test plans and procedures; draft test reports.
• Assist in CONOPS development and multiple COAs for deployment of capabilities.
• Contribute to life cycle activities including requirements reviews and training support.
• Create scripts and programs (PowerShell, Cygwin, VBScript) to improve test artifact creation.
• Assist in identifying and solving production and non-production issues.
