Job summary

FLANDERS in Evansville/Carmel, Indiana seeks a Customer Support Specialist to expertly process purchase orders, manage customer setup, and coordinate order documentation from entry to shipment end user. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and accept incoming POs in the system.
• Download POs as needed from customer portals.
• Manage the new customer setup process by collecting the appropriate information.
• Maintain terms established in MSAs and SPAs.
• Verify that orders meet all required criteria (price, lead time, validity, payment terms, customer information, etc.).
• Track jobs for invoicing and milestone payments.
• Provide timely and up to date information to customers and internal team members.
• Handle incoming and outgoing sales-related correspondence and emails.
• Identify and resolve problems efficiently and elevate when needed.
• Maintain necessary order-related documentation, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and agreements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address customer needs and inquiries effectively.
• Submit and track warranty and concessions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in their implementation if approved.
