Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill orders and manage incoming calls. You will respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders by phone, fax, email, or walk-in. You may adjust pricing within parameters to influence gross profit and build relationships for repeat business.

This role requires reliability, strong communication, and basic computer skills, typically with a high school diploma or GED and 0–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–3 years related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders by phone, fax, email, or in person.
• Respond to product inquiries and provide quotes.
• Negotiate pricing within established parameters to influence gross profit.
• Place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO when allowed.
• Source products and maintain inventory levels for customers.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods and coordinate with accounts.
• Support account representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle returns and expedite backorders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
