• Moderate computer skills, including information processing, emailing, and using business systems to find products online.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in (counter sales).
• Negotiates sale and purchase prices within parameters; may adjust non-contract pricing.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Determines shipping methods and expedites backorders; may pull inventory and handle returns.
