Job summary

Motion Industries seeks a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls under close supervision, delivering reliable, friendly service to customers and supporting the sales team.

You will process quotes, enter orders by phone, fax, email or in person, negotiate pricing within approved parameters, source inventory, coordinate shipping methods, and drive improvements while fostering repeat business.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with 0–3 years related experience.
• Reliability, organization and attention to detail are essential.
• Moderate computer skills and ability to navigate business systems and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries and provides quotes.
• Enter orders via telephone, fax, email, or in person at the counter.
• Place customer orders and manage order entry to maintain inventory levels.
• Negotiate price within parameters to support gross profit.
• Source products from branch, DC, or supplier inventory as needed.
• Coordinate shipping methods to optimize cost and delivery times.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
