Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; zero to three years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Strong communication skills, reliable and detail-oriented with good organization.
• Moderate computer skills and use of business systems to enter orders and locate products.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic inquiries, provides quotes, and processes order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, or counter visits.
• Negotiates price within parameters to influence gross profit; adjusts non-contract pricing as needed.
• Builds relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensures appropriate inventory levels and expedites backorders as needed.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods and coordinates with account reps to ensure customer satisfaction.
