Job summary

Symbotic LLC in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Summer Intern for the Customer Success team within Operations. You will analyze automated system performance, support troubleshooting, and help cross‑functional teams improve customer site outcomes.

During the internship, you will collaborate with engineering and operations to develop performance improvement plans, track KPIs, and build AI‑enabled dashboards that convert data into actionable insights for teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business, data analytics, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to handle and interpret large data sets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; exposure to Python and SQL is a plus.
• Strong communication and listening skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• A customer‑focused, proactive and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to identify opportunities to improve system performance at customer sites and across the network.
• Support troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for system performance issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and technology partners to develop and implement performance improvement plans.
• Contribute to improvements involving automated inbound/outbound, lift systems, and related areas.
• Help build and interpret KPIs and operating metrics to improve processes and systems.
• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives to resolve recurring challenges and improve customer outcomes.
• Help develop and maintain AI‑enabled dashboards translating performance data into actionable insights.
