Job summary

Bayer seeks an experienced operations professional to oversee daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash for Hematology and Specialty Pharma in the US market. You will coordinate data, systems, traceability, and pricing programs to ensure reliable supply and high service levels.

You will collaborate with account managers, sales, finance and marketing to optimize processes, manage contracts, and drive compliance. This role emphasizes cross-functional leadership in a regulated environment within Bayer

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with equivalent relevant experience and similar track record in pharma operations is acceptable.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments and with serialized, specialty, temperature‑sensitive, partner‑managed, 3PL‑supported, or contract‑controlled supply models is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical design across IT and business functions.
• Proven skills in impact assessment, requirements gathering, dependency management, testing coordination, and readiness reporting.
• Strong cross‑functional coordination and stakeholder management across levels of seniority.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support.
• Maintain oversight of third-party operations and act as escalation point for operational, customer, supply and billing issues.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and advise on contracts, controls and audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to tailor solutions for customers.
• Coordinate NDC-12 readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, pricing and government programs.
• Align requirements and controls with IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and external partners.
• Lead integrated cluster plans with risk, dependencies, readiness metrics, and PMO updates.
• Maintain Bayer's readiness approach in line with evolving industry discussions.
